Clewiston Museum hosts Waddell

On Thursday, Nov. 10, from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., the Clewiston Museum will host guest speaker, Lynn Waddell, an award-winning journalist who has covered news in Florida for over 20 years. Lynn’s travels throughout Florida have given her an eye for the unusual, which has led to her critically acclaimed book, “Fringe Florida.” This book provides an intrepid journey inside some of the state’s most electric and daring worlds.

Lynn Waddell’s upcoming presentation is titled “Fringe Florida: The Unusual Subcultures of The Sunshine State.” This free public program is made possible through a mini-grant received by the Clewiston Museum from the Florida Humanities Council. (Refreshments will be served after the presentation.)

The Clewiston Museum hopes you will take advantage of this sponsored “FHC” program as well as others that will be offered by the Clewiston Museum this year. For more information call 863-983-2870 or email at clewistonmuseum@embarqmail.com.
