“Town Hall” meeting
The public is invited to attend a “Town Hall” meeting at the Lawrence E. Will Museum of the Glades located at 530 S Main St., Belle Glade on Thursday, Nov. 10, at 5:30 p.m. The meeting will be a presentation of research findings from recent archaeological investigations of a Precolumbian archaeological site located on property owned by Wedgworth Farms. Dr. William Locascio of Florida Gulf Coast University, will be the “Town Hall” meeting’s host.

Veterans Day Celebration
The public is invited to the Veteran’s Day Celebration presented by the Clewiston Middle School on Thursday, Nov. 10, at 9 a.m. in the Cafeteria. This is a free event. CMS would love to recognize any veterans in attendance during the celebration. If you or someone you know are a veteran and will be in attendance on that day, please email farmerk@hendry-schools.net.

‘Fringe Florida’
On Thursday, Nov. 10, from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., the Clewiston Museum will host guest speaker, Lynn Waddell, an award-winning journalist who has covered news in Florida for over 20 years. Lynn’s travels throughout Florida have given her an eye for the unusual, which has led to her critically acclaimed book, Fringe Florida. Free to the public. Drug Free Partnership meets
The Drug Free Hendry County/Hendry Tobacco Free Partnership meeting will be on Nov. 10 at 4 p.m. at Carlson Memorial United Methodist Church, 310 Campbell St., in LaBelle. Guest speaker is Eliseo Rangel.
