Fall Festival at Clewiston is Saturday, Oct. 20

CLEWISTON — The City of Clewiston’s Recreation Department will have its 10th annual Fall Festival on Saturday, Oct. 20, Public Works Director Sean Sheffler announced at Monday’s commission meeting. The event will start at 2 p.m. and run until 6. “There will be at least four food trucks there, with the possibility of a fifth coming. We just had contact from Edwards Barbeque, who asked for information about having a booth there. There will also be about 20 booths where there will be games and activities played, and free candy handed out. On the stage, there’s going to be a costume contest for the children. There’s going to be a pet costume contest for the children also where there will be prizes for the first-place winner, as well as a raffle that will go off every half-hour. We’ve got big plans, ideas, and we’re hoping to see everybody there,” said Mr. Sheffler. “That’s this Saturday at 2 o’clock, in the festival grounds.”
