HENDRY COUNTY – The Hendry County Road & Bridge Department will be temporarily closing County Road 833 (CR 833/Sam Jones Trail) from Keri Road/County Road 832 (CR 832) south to County Road 846 (CR 846) beginning daily Feb. 15 through Feb. 17 during the hours of 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Motorists traveling north on County Road 833 will be directed off County Road 833 to County Road 846 and will then travel west to State Road 29 (SR 29) north. Motorists will then be directed from SR 29 to head east on Keri Road (CR 832) which will lead them back to CR 833.
Motorists traveling south on County Road 833 will be directed off County Road 833 to Keri Road (CR 832) and will then travel west to State Road 29 south. Motorists will then be directed from SR 29 to head east on County Road 846 which will lead them to County Road 833.
Access will be permitted to Dinner Island Wildlife Management Area (WMA) from County Road 833 south ONLY. Motorists visiting Dinner Island WMA should expect delays.
Motorists are asked to PLEASE TRAVEL WITH CAUTION.
The closure is necessary to ensure the safety of the traveling public.
