Hendry County Road & Bridge Report

LABELLE — On Nov. 29, the Hendry County Road & Bridge Department released a report on projects completed from Oct. 29 through Nov. 12.


Mowing: Cowboy Way, County Road 78, Port LaBelle subdivision and Fort Denaud Road.

Herbicide: Forrey Drive, Cowboy Way, Hendry County Emergency Operations Center (EOC) and North LaBelle subdivision.

Grading: Robb Road, Old North River Road and Wheeler Road.

Driveway repairs: Felda, North LaBelle and North LaBelle Heights.

Ditch maintenance: North LaBelle Heights.


Mowing: Harlem subdivision, Hookers Point Road, Airglades Airport, Flaghole Area, 7K Subdivision, L-1 Canal Park, Matthew Loop and Davidson Road.

Grading: L-1 Canal.

Tree trimming: Harlem, Twin Lakes subdivision and Ridgdill subdivision.

Public safety: Removed bees from right of way on 10th St. in Harlem and cleaned oil spill from Old U.S. 27 right of way.

Sign work: County Road 846. Pine Cone Avenue, Hookers Point Road, County Road 720 and County Road 835.

Ditch maintenance: Queen Avenue and Center Avenue.
