HENDRY COUNTY

• Flaghole Road from Woodland Boulevard to US 27: Construction project: Crews will mill and resurface the roadway, improve drainage and install roadway safety treatments. Watch for crews and equipment working close to the road. Drivers should expect daytime rolling lane closures. Flaggers will direct motorists through the work zone in a single lane. Please observe posted speed limits and drive with caution in the construction zone. Estimated Project completion is summer 2017. The contractor is Community Asphalt Corporation.

• US 27 at Flaghole Road: Maintenance contract project: Motorists should expect the outside southbound lane closed from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday while crews repair guardrail, weather permitting. Motorists should expect delays and use caution in this area.

• US 27 from CR 720 to SR 80: Maintenance permit project: Crews will be repairing shoulder near the roadway during daytime hours, Monday through Thursday, weather permitting. Motorists should use caution as crews work near the roadway.

• US 27 from Sky Valley Lane to the Glades County line: Maintenance project: Motorists should expect intermittent northbound and southbound lane closures from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Thursday while crews perform ditch maintenance, weather permitting. Motorists should expect delays and use caution in this area.

• SR 80 from Everhigh Road to US 27: Maintenance project: Crews will be landscaping near the roadway during daytime hours, Monday through Thursday, weather permitting. Motorists should use caution as crews work near the roadway.

• SR 80 from Phillips Road to Huggetts Road: Maintenance permit project: Motorists should expect intermittent eastbound lane closures during daytime hours from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. and during nighttime/overnight hours from 7 p.m. to 6 a.m. Monday through Friday, while crews pave the roadway, weather permitting. Motorists should use caution as crews work near the roadway.

• SR 80 from Double J. Acres Road to CR 78A: Maintenance permit project: Motorists should expect intermittent eastbound and westbound lane closures from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. while crews construct turn lanes, weather permitting. Motorists should use caution as crews work near the roadway.

• SR 80 from Dalton Lane to CR 833: Construction project: Crews will widen approximately 11 miles of roadway from two to four lanes and add new turning lanes. Additional work includes repaving the current lanes of SR 80 and constructing ten new bridges. Three of them will require full demolition and removal of the existing bridges in order to construct the new ones. Work will also include improving drainage, adding curb and gutter, and installing LED lighting. Estimated project completion is summer 2020. The contractor is AJAX Paving Industries of Florida.

• SR 80 from Dalton Lane to CR 833: Maintenance permit project: Motorists should expect intermittent eastbound and westbound lane closures from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. while crews repair shoulders, weather permitting. Motorists should use caution as crews work near the roadway.

• SR 80 from Dalton Lane to Indian Hills Drive: Maintenance permit project: Crews will be relocating utilities near the roadway during daytime hours, Monday through Friday, weather permitting. Motorists should use caution as crews work near the roadway.

• SR 80 from US 27 to the Lee County line: Maintenance project: Crews will be landscaping near the roadway during daytime hours, Monday through Thursday, weather permitting. Motorists should use caution as crews work near the roadway.

• SR 29 from Case Road to Wilson Road: Maintenance permit project: Motorists should expect intermittent northbound and southbound lane closures during daytime hours from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. and during nighttime/overnight hours from 7 p.m. to 6 a.m. Monday through Friday, while crews construct a turn lane, weather permitting. Motorists should use caution as crews work near the roadway.

• SR 29 from SR 80 to Cowboy Way: Maintenance project: Motorists should expect intermittent northbound lane closures from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Thursday while crews clean ditches, weather permitting. Motorists should expect delays and use caution in this area.

• SR 29 at Palmdale Avenue: Maintenance permit project: Motorists should expect intermittent southbound lane closures from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. while crews construct a driveway, weather permitting. Motorists should use caution as crews work near the roadway.

• SR 29 at Patton Road: Maintenance project: Crews will be repairing drainage culverts near the roadway during daytime hours, Monday through Friday, weather permitting. Motorists should use caution as crews work near the roadway.

• SR 29 at Labelle Bridge: Maintenance contract project: Motorists should expect the outside southbound lane closed from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday while crews repair guardrail. Motorists should expect delays and use caution in this area.
