CLEWISTON — The Hendry County Road & Bridge Department will be performing emergency road repairs in Montura Ranch Estates on Woodland Boulevard between N. Elk Street and N. Pine Cone Avenue.
Woodland Boulevard will be temporarily closed beginning at 8 a.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 6, through 5 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 6.
A detour will be marked and motorists will be directed off of Woodland Boulevard to N. Elk Street to N. Pine Cone Avenue in order to bypass this portion of Woodland Boulevard.
Motorists are asked to PLEASE TRAVEL WITH CAUTION as N. Pine Cone Avenue is NOT a paved road and motorist must travel the lime rock road at a reduced speed.
The closure is necessary to rebuild the portion of roadway that was damaged due to a pipe failure.
Please seek an alternate route if possible and allow extra time to reach your destination. If travel thru the work zone is necessary, please do so carefully.
Residents with questions or concerns can contact the Hendry County Engineering Department at 863-675-5222.
