Schedule of Events for the Brown Sugar Festival

The following is a list of events to take place in celebration of the Brown Sugar Festival scheduled to take place on May 5. The Brown Sugar Festival parade will begin at 10 a.m.

Vendors are welcome to call 863-233-6500 to inquire about booths at the festival.

  • A Gospel Fest will be held on Saturday, April 28 from 10 a.m. – noon at the Harlem Pavilion located at the corner of Carolina Avenue and 10th Street.
  • The Brown Sugar Pageant will be held on Saturday, April 28 from 6 – 9 p.m. at the John Boy Auditorium, 1200 S W C Owen Ave in Clewiston.
  • The Sweet Taste of Harlem will be held on Monday, April 30 from 5 p.m. – 9 p.m. at the Harlem Pavilion located at the corner of Carolina Avenue and 10th Street.
  • A Pioneer Dinner will be held on Wednesday, May 2 from 6 – 9 p.m. at the Harlem Civic Center located on Seventh Street in Clewiston.
  • Mexican Bingo will be held on Thursday, May 3 from 6 – 9 p.m. at the Harlem Civic Center located on Seventh Street in Clewiston.
  • A talent show will be held on Friday, May 4 at 6 p.m. at the Clewiston Middle School, 601 W Pasadena Ave. in Clewiston.
  • A class reunion and banquet will be held on Friday, May 5 at 9 p.m. at the Harlem Civic Center located on Seventh Street in Clewiston.
  • A Teen Dance will be held on Saturday, May 5 from 9 p.m. to midnight at the Harlem Civic Center located on Seventh Street in Clewiston.
