Waste Pick-up for Hendry County

LABELLE — There will be no waste collection in Hendry County for Friday, September 8 or Saturday, September 9 and possibly Monday, September 11 depending on weather conditions.

Residents are strongly encouraged not to place bulk items, trash cans or lids by the road or in the right-of-way. All trash cans and lids need to be secured on their property to avoid becoming air-borne in the case of a wind event or becoming a drainage block.

As the County continues to monitor the storm, updates will be provided to the public on when trash pick-up will resume.

Residents are encouraged to call 2-1-1, Hendry County’s storm information hotline, for any information regarding Hurricane Irma.
