Benefit planned for William Bigham

CLEWISTON — New Hope Deliverance Christian Ministries Inc. will host a special fundraising event for William Bigham, son of Pastors James and Michelle Bigham. William is awaiting a heart transplant and recently was told by his doctors that he will be receiving his new heart any day now.

A barbecue and yard sale benefit event will take place Saturday, April 21, at the U-Save parking lot located on U.S. 27 in Clewiston. The yard sale will begin at 7 a.m., and dinners will be sold at 11 a.m. Chicken dinners will be sold for a donation of $10, and rib dinners will be $12. Dinners will include two sides, soda and dessert.

Mr. Bigham’s doctors have asked that he has a certain amount of money saved so he doesn’t have the added stress of worrying about how he is going to pay his bills after he receives his new heart.

The proceeds of the BBQ and yard sale events will go toward William’s goal amount. New Hope Deliverance Christian Ministries is asking the community to help in their quest to assist William by purchasing a dinner or buying items from the yard sale, or by simply donating whatever is on your heart.

To donate or pre-order, call Pastor James Bigham at 863-228-0673.
