Keeping children safe after Hurricane Irma

As recovery from Hurricane Irma continues, make sure your children stay safe. Keep them away from hazards.

Standing water is unpredictable – it can be contaminated, contain live power lines or dangerous wildlife.

Engage children in games and activites.

Limit screen time because media coverage can be disturbing.

As much as possible, keep a sense of routine.
