Letter to the Editor

To Our Community,

Words cannot express our gratitude for the outpouring of love we felt during these past few weeks.

Clewiston has proven to not only be America’s Sweetest Town, but also America’s Most Compassionate Town. Thank you for the food, flowers, cards, and visits over these past few weeks. Thank you to those who have given gifts to help us grant Joshua’s wishes of returning to Ireland. Your kindness is overwhelming. Knowing Joshua was loved by so many fills our hearts with pride.

We ask that you continue to cover our family with your prayers. Without your love and prayers and our Heavenly Father’s love and grace, we could not survive through this time. However, we know in whose arms our son, brother, uncle, and grandson rests in and know we will see him again. Until then, we will be strong and courageous like Joshua was. We will not be terrified or discouraged for our Lord is with us wherever we go.

With Much Love,
Mike and Terri Ingram, Hope and Alfredo Escobar, Clayton Alston, and Herb and Janice Moore
