Team Moose Rescue helps local veteran and his dogs

Clewiston-based Team Moose Rescue Inc. helped a veteran and his more than 15 dogs on Saturday, Dec. 5 by supplying medical care and providing proper fencing for the animals.

The veteran, who lives in Montura, kept his dogs on chains in his yard. Team Moose Rescue wanted to ensure the dogs had proper shelter and were well-cared for, so they helped set up multiple enclosures using fences donated from the east and west coast to house the many dogs.

Team Moose Rescue will also help supply food for the dogs and medical care. Paws of Lee County also helped make the project a success. For more information on Team Moose Rescue Inc., visit its website at www.teammooserescue.org.
