VA Medical Center Clinic to Close in advance of Hurricane Matthew

PALM BEACH – The West Palm Beach VA Medical Center will close the following clinics on Thursday, October 6 and Friday, October 7 in advance of Hurricane Matthew:

All Community Based Outpatient Clinics:

Clewiston and Moore Haven Rural Health Clinics

Although the track of the storm is not yet clear, all indications are that South Florida will experience very strong winds and heavy rain at a minimum.

“In the abundance of caution and to ensure the safety of  patients and staff in South Florida,  clinics will be closed.  They will work diligently to resume normal health care operations as quickly as possible,” said Dr. Mandi, acting medical center director.
