Johntavious Johnson arrested for attempted homicide

LABELLE — According to the Hendry County Sheriff’s Office at approximately 7:45 p.m. on April 24, investigators took 21 year old Johntavious Johnson into custody at his mother’s home at the 300 block of Sabal Palm Court, LaBelle.

Hendry County investigators were provided information, from the United States Marshal’s Office – Florida Regional Fugitive Task Force, that Johnson had been hiding out in Fort Myers and had returned to his mother’s home earlier in the evening.

Hendry County investigators, deputies and United States Marshal’s were able to take Johnson into custody without incident.

Johnson was arrested on a Hendry County warrant on charges of attempted homicide and aggravated battery with a deadly weapon against 18 year old Brady Walker on April 15.

Johnson is currently being held in the Hendry County Jail without bond.
