Students celebrate FSA scores with limo ride and lunch

CLEWISTON — Students from Central Elementary School in Clewiston finally got a chance to celebrate their hard work!

On Friday, Sept. 14, the third-, fourth- and fifth-graders who received a five on their FSA reading, math and/or science during the 2017-18 school year, received their promised “Limo Ride to Lunch.”

The 2017-18 third-, fourth- and fifth-grade students who scored a five on their FSA were chauffeured to the Clewiston Country Club for a luncheon in a luxurious limo/party bus.

Like celebrities, they were cheered on by their teacher and classmates as they loaded up on the luxury limo/party bus and headed to the middle school to pick up their graduated fifth-graders, who also scored 5s. From there, they headed to the Clewiston Country Club for a catered lunch, which was a new experience for most students who had never visited or eaten there before.
