Clewiston girls’ soccer defeated Jensen Beach on Nov. 8, 4-1 behind solid play from several key players and outstanding defense.

Kelsey Allison continued her great start with three goals before halftime. Isabella Perez added the fourth goal in the second half. Coach Keri Alford said the girls played well together and played a full game.

The Lady Tigers fell at home on Nov. 10 to district opponent Bishop Verot. The Lady Tigers JV also lost to the Vikings 1-0.

The Tigers will play Bishop Verot again on Dec. 6 with a chance to even the score.

The Lady Tigers had a busy week this week as they travelled to Community School of Naples on Tuesday, Nov. 15, host Oasis on Thursday, Nov. 16, at 6 p.m., and another road match at King’s Academy on Friday, Nov. 18th.

Alford praised her seniors that include Ashley Roth, Carley Morrell, Kelsey Allison, Alexis Rubio, Zenyda Soriano and Courtney Blanset. She predicted the Tigers could have their best season in history this year.
